OSRAM AirZing thanks to the effect of UVC lamps, effectively disinfects air and surfaces.

AirZing can be used to sterilize environments, a device carries out its sterilizing action in an area of about 20 square meters.

The core of micro-organism cells, such as viruses and bacteria, contains timina, a chemical element of DNA/RNA. Timina absorbs UV-C to the specific length of 253.7 nm (the lamp used in AirZing) and changes to such a point that the cell is no longer able to multiply and survive. As a result, micro-organisms such as viruses and bacteria that are not able to multiply cannot cause diseases.
